Albert is the Founder and Managing Partner of Kestrel Merchant Partners and is associated with The Benchmark Company. Kestrel sources, sponsors and syndicates investments in a hybrid approach that is fully aligned with clients and provides a bespoke offering for special situations and bridge investments. Albert has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry spanning London, New York, San Francisco and Boston. He was Managing Director of Investment Banking at Craig-Hallum Capital Group for seven years and Managing Director of Institutional Sales at ThinkEquity Partners for nine years. Previously, Albert spent five years with Alex Brown & Sons through the acquisition of Deutsche Bank. He began his career on the trading floor of Piper Jaffray and the London International Financial Futures Exchange. Albert received his BA from Brown University.
