Mike Malouf joined Benchmark in April of 2021 to continue his quest to foster growth of exciting small cap companies. Prior to joining Benchmark, Mike founded and led Craig Hallum’s Alpha Select List, aimed at identifying and providing research to the next generation of small growth companies. Mike Malouf began his investment career in San Francisco, where, as the youngest portfolio manager at RCM Capital Management, he managed $1 Billion in small and mid-cap growth companies. He later joined Neuberger Berman and launched an aggressive small-cap growth mutual fund, which he grew to over $700 million. Mike went on to co-found Copper Rock Capital, a $5 Billion investment management firm focused on small and emerging companies.
